This ship was built in 1969 and commissioned into the British Naval Service in 1970 as a fleet replenishment vessel. There are only about ten of these in the world today, and it has become a collector's item.
Converted first into a home, then into a diving support vessel in 2012. In 2023, it became our home with a major refurbishment.
Our family DOMINIQUE the Captain, WHITNEY the hostess with our two cats SALSA, PEPITA and our dog BAKARA will be happy to welcome you to share these unusual, special moments aboard a vintage ship.
You will sleep in spacious cabins without portholes.
We wanted to keep the ship in its original state.
Accessing the cabins can be a bit challenging, as you'll take a ladder and step up to your cabins, just like sailors do. And off you go, the adventure begins.
The following will be made available during your stay on board:
On the upper forward deck, you'll find the sun deck facing the wheelhouse. This space will allow you to sunbathe, relax, and unwind with a house cocktail.
Inside the ship, you'll be able to watch movies and read books. Games will be available. In case of bad weather, this space can be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is called the mess. (A mess is a canteen, a military restaurant for officers and non-commissioned officers.)
Don't forget!!!!!! We are on a ship and life on board is different from life on land. Our goal is to make you feel completely removed from the earthly world.
WE ARE SAILORS. WE LIVE LIKE SAILORS.
